Gray will put London Labour before Scottish families10.54.50am BST (GMT +0100) Wed 24th Sep 2008 Commenting on Iain Gray’s speech to the Labour conference, Tavish Scott, Leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats has hit out at the Labour leader’s failure to produce any policies which will help families struggling to pay their bills. Tavish Scott said: “Iain Gray has missed a major opportunity to spell out how he proposes to help ordinary people struggling to pay their bills. “Last week I challenged the other parties to work together to cut income tax to help Scots faced with crippling rises in the cost of living. It is now clear that Iain Gray will put supporting London Labour before supporting hard-pressed families in Scotland.”
